My 3/3 lifelink was blocked by a 2/2 deathtouch — do I still gain the life?
Answer
Yes. You gain 3 life as your lifelink creature deals damage, even though both creatures then die.
Why
The creatures deal combat damage at the same time. The 3/3 deals 3 damage, so lifelink gains its controller 3 life immediately.
State-based actions then destroy the 3/3 because it was dealt deathtouch damage and destroy the 2/2 because it has lethal damage marked. The life gain remains.
